A quotation is requested for — 1 (one) Confocal Raman microscope together with points 2.1.1-2.1.8 as specified below. The Instrument and the related services must satisfy the following minimum requirements and the fulfillment of all criteria has to be documented within the tender: 2.1.1 Raman Microscope — confocal Raman microscope — suitable for analyzing geological samples — suitable for Raman-imaging (2D and 3D) - suitable for mineral and fluid inclusion studies in minerals — suitable for analyzing liquids — suitable for analyzing chemicals on mineral surfaces — spectral resolution at least 2 cm-1 and to be able to acquire spectra from 100 to 1400 cm-1 in a single CCD image. Additionally it must be possible to acquire extended range Raman spectra, free from artefacts without any stitching individual spectra together, from 100 cm-1 to 1050 nm for each laser - binoculars — objectives x5, x10, x50, x50 long distance, x100 — transmitted and reflected light — polarizator and analyzator for transmitted light - sample stage; accuracy 100 nm. Range at least 100 mm, 70 mm, X, Y. — lasers 532 nm, and 785 nm; changing from one laser to other must be performed using software — minimum laser spot size less than 1m - standard CCD detector — high resolution digital video camera — hood for working in normal room light — calibration standard(s) — must have dynamic real-time focusing (responding in milliseconds) of uneven surfaces during Raman measurements and while the microscope stage is moving in the X or Y directions — macro sampling kit for powder and liquid samples — 4 cuvettes for liquid samples — electrochemical cell Please, see the Invitation Letter for details.
