The brightfield, fluorescence and polarization microscope slide scanner will be part of the Biocenter Oulu Transgenic and Tissue Phenotyping core facility at the University of Oulu and is to be installed in the laboratory at the Biocenter Oulu premises at the Kontinkangas campus. We are interested in purchasing a fluorescence microscope with super-resolution capabilities, in particular we are searching for systems with fast 3D single-molecule imaging localization capabilities. A very important point is to have a compact and easy to transport system that can be transferred back and forth between laboratories with bio safety level 1 and 2 based on the needs of the samples.
