Service description: GTK is planning to have a 2D seismic survey across the Kuusamo Schist Belt in northern Finland (see the enclosed map and shapefiles in Appendices 2 and 3) during the May-September 2025 and hereby invites competent companies to tender for the Survey. The Survey aims to acquire seismic data to image the crust down to approximately 10 km depth. The scope and objective of the public contract are the following (Survey to be provided): The invitation to tender is for a 2D seismic survey (data acquisition and data processing). The Tenderers are requested to give a proposal for the Survey schedule during 2025. The entire service, including processed data, needs to be delivered latest 15th of December 2025 and invoiced after the acceptance of the delivery before 31st of December 2025. GTK shall have the right to reduce or enlarge the length of the specified seismic profiles by 3% after signing of the final contract due to e.g. restrictions related to permitting. Minimum requirements of the seismic survey and Optional Services: Two 2D seismic profiles are planned to be acquired and the data processed with the minimum length of 77 km (profile 1) and 43 km (profile 2) (map in Appendix 2). Optional Service includes acquisition and processing of additional 5 or 10 or 15 km long extension of profile 2 as per the Buyer's choice. The optional extension is the southern part of the profile 2 in Appendices 2 and 3. Seismic data acquisition should be performed according to the following general specifications: Receiver interval: 5 m (24000 planned receiver positions); Source interval: 25 m (4800 planned source positions); Source type: One (1) Vibroseis truck; Receiver type: nodal; Active spread: symmetric, minimum 2000 active channels. Seismic data processing should be performed up to the Dip-Moveout (DMO) stack and post-stack time migrations. Detailed technical specifications of the acquisition parameters are provided in Appendix 4. Detailed technical specifications of the data processing are provided in Appendix 5.
