Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT) is constructing an industrial scale high-temperature heat pump test facility. The aim of the research project is to bring generic knowledge and solutions that can be utilized to realize industrial scale high-temperature heat pumps where the compression is done with multi-stage high-speed centrifugal compressors. This procurement concerns the valves that are needed in the test facility. A detailed description of the equipment is presented in Appendix 4.

The expansion valves can be either mechanical valves with swimming chamber function or electronically working valves which measure the evaporator and flash intercooler surface height. In the expansion valves, R1233zd(E) enters the valve in liquid phase and expanses it to vapour phase.

Control valves for a heat pump test facility. The control valves are attached to process which has vapour R1233zd(E) working fluid circulating inside. Control valves are used to control the flow of the working fluid or stop the flow to certain areas. Process is planned to have TWO electrical control valves and ONE mechanical control valve. In the control valves the R1233zd(E) is in vapour phase.

The economic operator itself or any person who is a member of its administrative, management or supervisory body or has powers of representation, decision or control therein has been the subject of a conviction by final judgment for corruption, by a conviction rendered at the most five years ago or in which an exclusion period set out directly in the conviction continues to be applicable.

The economic operator is in arrangement with creditors.

The economic operator itself or any person who is a member of its administrative, management or supervisory body or has powers of representation, decision or control therein has been the subject of a conviction by final judgment for participation in a criminal organisation, by a conviction rendered at the most five years ago or in which an exclusion period set out directly in the conviction continues to be applicable.
