The object of this invitation for tender is to acquire a fully automated system to analyze human hemoglobin in feces (immunochemical fecal test; FIT) for colorectal cancer screening and fecal calprotectin (option) in Fimlab central laboratory in Tampere, Finland.
Colorectal cancer screening is governed by the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The analysis methods used for colorectal cancer screening have been recommended by the Finnish Cancer Registry's Guide (publication of the Finnish Cancer Registry, 2021) and the expert working group appointed by the National Cancer Screening Steering Group (Protocol on the screening of colorectal cancer).
