Geologian tutkimuskeskus (in English: the Geological Survey of Finland, "GTK") invites you to Tender for the public contract according to this Call for tenders and its appendices.

The object of this Call for tenders is GTK’s Laboratory Automation System operated with the help of a robot (later referred to as ‘MintecRobo’).

The Laboratory Automation System operated with the help of a robot (later referred to as ‘MintecRobo’) is requested to make the analysis of different kinds of crushed (< 5 mm) ores, rock materials, slags, ashes, and other solid materials fully automatically. Solid materials to be analysed will be inserted into the MintecRobo as dried samples. Elemental Analysis of prepared samples is made by using WDXRF equipment and mineralogical analysis by using XRD instrument. MintecRobo will also be used in the analysis of different liquids, mainly process waters and similar, being minor part of the sample analysis. Samples are coming from GTK Mintec’s Mineral Processing Pilot Plant, Bench Scale Process Laboratory, Mineralogy Laboratory, Mini Pilot, and from Exploration and ore potential evaluation projects and other GTK’s internal and external projects. GTK Mintec conducts up to 12 different big projects and several tens of smaller projects annually. For most of the samples, speed is of essence along with the analytical accuracy and reproducibility. On the other hand, there are samples for research purposes for which MintecRobo shall be able to give as accurate results as possible, thereby analysis speed being less important.

Vaihtoehtojen kuvaus:

The contracting entity shall have an option (but no obligation) to purchase the additional Supplies on the terms set forth in the contract.

Tenderer shall offer following options:

Option 1: Extensive XRF Training

Option 2: Fused bead preparation machine

These options shall be valid until 36 months from the date of Contract signature and the use of any option is solely for the Customer to decide.
