The purpose of this acquisition is to create flexible and efficient storage and distribution of LNG primarily to the needs of Wasalines and Wärtsilä, but possibly also for other LNG needs in the Vaasa region. For this purpose, the Supplier shall build liquefied natural gas terminal in the area separately assigned to the port of Vaasa (minimum 450 m) to ensure the distribution of the LNG. The supplier will also be responsible for the storage and transfer of the reservoir and the LNG contained therein to its destinations.

Vaasa city will point the landplot for the land based tank. The lease of the area is subject to a separate land lease. The central terms of land lease agreement can be found as Annex 7. The supplier is responsible for applying for the necessary permits and for the design and construction of the reservoir.

The object of the acquisition and the requirements for it are described in detail in the following Annexes:
• description of the acquisition and minimum requirements (Annex 1);
• draft Contract (Annex 5); and
• general Terms and Conditions of Contract, Wärtsilä Marine 2020 (Annex 6).
The quantities of procurement presented in the tender offer are estimates. The contract does not constitute an obligation to purchase fixed amounts, but the supplier will have an exclusive right to sell the LNG to Wasaline (Ferry) and to Wärtsilä with the exception of the period of the docking of the Ferry.

Agreement period
The agreement (one joint contract) is to be signed in between the Supplier and Wärtsilä Finland Oy, NLC Ferry Oy (Wasaline) and City of Vaasa.
The contract period starts on 1 May 2021 and contract period for LNG supply is 5 years from the date when the terminal is ready for local use (plus 5 years' option).
The start date of the contract period for the LNG supply is 1 May 2021, because of the arrival of a new ship at home port and expiry of current LPG-agreements during summer 2021. The truck deliveries are possible, until the terminal is completed latest by 12 months from signing of the contract.

Uudistusten kuvaus:
Customers alone or collectively have the right to extend the validity of the Contract by an option period of five (5) years. The customer decides alone whether to exercise the option to extend the contract period.
Vaihtoehtojen kuvaus:
Bio-LNG may be purchased from the same supplier on the same terms, at a price negotiated separately during the contract period. If the supplier is unable to supply Bio-LNG, then each subscriber is entitled to acquire up to 5 % of the total amount of LNG gas (Bio-LNG) they use each month by means of a separate purchase.
