New Refrigeration and HVAC Systems for an Ice Rink in Pirkkala (Pirkkalan jäähalli)

(a) the procurement contract concerns the rebuilding of refrigeration and HVAC systems to be carried out in a facility consisting of an existing ice rink, Pirkkalan Jäähalli, with associated heated spaces;
(b) a new combined refrigeration and heat pump system shall be installed to serve the facility. Within the facility, the existing rink floor shall be reused and connected to the new refrigeration system;
(c) the rink floor shall have ice for hockey activity no later than 1.9.2019, if needed by the help of a temporary chiller organized and paid for by the contractor. However, the new combined refrigeration and heat pump system shall be installed to serve the facility 31.10.2019 at the latest;
(d) further details regarding requirements and time schedule are found in the technical specifications appended to the invitation to tender.

The opportunity to visit is on 14.3.2019 at 13.00 - 16:00 (The time zone in Finland is UTC + 2:00). Tenderers must contact Minna Kitusuo, minna.kitusuo@kuhaoy.fi 7.3.2019 at the latest to leave their contact information if they are participating. These tenderers will get more detailed instructions for the visit. All the questions must be asked via Tarjouspalvelu.fi eTendering tool (see “Additional information questions") and no additional information is given during the visit. The purpose of the visit is purely to give an opportunity to see the facility.
