Domestic Outside Broadcast Vehicles Services

Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle is seeking partners to provide domestic outside broadcasting services for a 4 year contract period starting at the end of 2019. This procurement consist of two (2) categories: ‘Large size OB services’ and ‘Mid size OB services’. Yle will make framework agreements with total of four (4) different suppliers for each category. With this call for tenders we are seeking a more flexible and more precisely allocated services for our OB production needs. Yle selects four (4) winner tenderers for both category. Yle wishes to receive tenders in both categories, but partial tenders are also accepted. The requirements and objectives concerning of the offered Outside Broadcasting Vehicle services, the tenderer and the offered services for submitting the tender has described in detail in the call for tenders appendices.

Large size OB services — approximately 40 production days per year. The Framework Agreement is valid 4 years after the signing of the contract. The contract period is scheduled to begin on 4.11.2019. Yle selects four (4) winner tenderers of which Yle makes Framework Agreements with. The requirements and objectives for the tenderer and the applicable services, with regard to submitting a bid, are described in detail in Appendix 1. Example types of the equipment are included in certain sections of the appendices to call for tenders. Those examples help to describe the functional, technical or qualitative features of the equipment more clearly. In those cases, the tenderer may offer a similar type of device equipment upon its choice. The obligation to show the similarity lies with the tenderer. The requirements and objectives for the tenderer and the applicable services, with regard to submitting a tender are described in detail in the call for tenders appendices:

The tenderers economic standing and financial solvency shall be sufficiently stable to provide the customer with the deliveries included in the contract. Please see the requirements set in the ESPD form and below. If the tenderer is a group, the requirements shall be met by all its members individually — except the required turnover, which can be met by summing together the turnovers of all the members of the group. If requested, the tenderer shall provide relevant certificates.
