Jyväskylän Voima Oy is operating Keljonlahti CHP power plant in Jyväskylä, Finland. Keljonlahti. Plant started its operations in 2010. Turbine has been manufactured by LMZ in St. Petersburg, Russia and commissioned in 2010. The turbine is a triple casing, extraction-condensing, model T185/210-163,0-P. Steam parameters: 160 bar(a), 560 C, 160kg/s Process: 3 HP heaters 4 LP heater, 2 DH heaters, condenser. Power output appr. 210 MWe District heat output 250 MW The unit has currently more than 41000 h of operation time. Total numbers of start up are 43. In the process of selection of supplier, all needed data of turbine (e.g. drawings, clearance and alignment information, spare parts, etc.) will be clarified to ensure safe implementation of the overhaul. Suppliers have an opportunity to visit the Keljonlahti plant and the materials and documentation needed in planning the overhaul work. Suppliers must agree a non-disclosure agreement, NDA, before visiting the plant.
Scope of delivery
Scope of delivery must include the major overhaul works and other items defined below. Major turbine overhaul works included in fixed price are listed below:
1) Turbine disassembly, cleaning, inspection and measurements and re-assembly
— 3 casings, 3 rotors, and 4 ESV, 6 CV and 1 rotary diaphragm,
— removal and assembly of steam pipes o bearings 6,
— checking of the turbine shaft alignment,
— casings split surface blue check, 3 outer casings and 2 inner casings,
— checking of EH-converters, turbine inner measurement instruments, turbine protection hydraulics,
— calibration of IP relative expansion measure o overhaul of turning gear.
2) Disassembly, cleaning and inspection and re-assembly of servomotors
— 11 servomotors.
3) Commission and hot start. The delivery must include also reporting and documentation of works e.g.: site meeting memos (weekly), measuring reports, explanation for all conducted repair works and changing of spare parts, photographs of stages of works and jobs done, certificates according to the inspection plan and possible recommendations for future operation and maintenance.
Delivery time
The overhaul shall be performed according to the contract. Supplier shall participate in commissioning of the plant. The following preliminary target schedule for the project is anticipated:
— effective date (finalized Contract): January-February 2019
— start of overhaul: 22.4.2019
— end of overhaul: 30.6.2019
— start up for turbine: approx. weeks 39-40/2019. Customer shall inform the exact time and dates for testing based on Keljonlahti power plants start-up time. Announcement shall be made at least two (2) weeks before testing period. The Supplier shall provide a detailed time schedule and technical specification of the overhaul including known repair items.
