PAK 17: Super-resolution Confocal Microscope

University of Tampere

University of Tampere will acquire super-resolution imaging system based on Structured Illumination Microscopy (SIM). In addition to fixed samples, the system will be capable of imaging live-cell/tissue samples in physiological conditions (super-resolution imaging is here defined as a technology where image resolution beyond Abbes-diffraction limit, defined by the optical configuration of the system, is achieved (excluding deconvolution and other purely computational methods)).
The SIM system must be combined with laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM).
Also the installation and maintenance service of the imaging system are included in this procurement.

Requirement.

The tenderer shall be registered in the professional or trade register of its domicile country.

Information to be provided.

If later requested by the University of Tampere, the chosen supplier shall provide relevant certificates (company registration document) before concluding the contract.

Taloudellinen ja rahoituksellinen asema:

Payment of taxes and social security fees and exclusion criteria in the Act on Public Contracts.

Requirement.

The tenderer has fulfilled obligations relating to the payment of taxes or social security contributions in Finland or in the country in which it is established. The obligations shall be fulfilled by the deadline for the receipt of the tenders. The tenderer shall not be subject to exclusion criteria as defined in Section 53 of the Finnish Act on Public Contracts.

If the tenderer is a group, these requirements shall be met by all its members individually.

The tenderer shall take into account when drawing up its tender the obligations relating to taxes, to environmental protection and to working conditions as defined in Section 50 of the Finnish Act on Public Contracts.

The tenderer assures:

1) That it has paid all the taxes and social security payments; and if there is tax debt or unpaid social security payments, the tenderer shall provide all necessary statements (scheme of payment) if requested.

2) That a person having powers of representation, decision or control in respect of the tenderer has not been convicted by judgement that has the force of res judicata for any offence concerning his professional conduct as specified in Section 53 of the Finnish Act on Public Contracts, and.

3) That it has taken into account, when drawing up its tender, the obligations relating to taxes, environmental protection, employment protection and the working conditions which are in force in the place where the product is to be delivered.

Information to be provided:

The chosen supplier shall provide evidence concerning section 1 above before concluding the contract. If required by the contracting authority, the chosen supplier shall also provide evidence concerning section 2 above before concluding the contract.

Tekninen ja ammatillinen pätevyys:

The tenderer's experience (References).

Requirement.

The Tenderer, and any subcontractor, must have sufficient technical capacity, competence and experience on delivering super-resolution imaging systems for a professional use. The Tenderer must have adequate equipment, tools and methods to design and manufacture the requested imaging system.

The tenderer shall have:

— Proven experience on successfully providing at least 2 SIM super-resolution imaging systems in the past (the system delivered doesn't have to be the same model the tenderer offers in this tender competition);

— The references shall be from the past three (3) years.

If the tender is made as a consortium, members of the consortium may fill the requirements together.

If the tenderer uses subcontractors, the tenderer may fill the requirements together with its subcontractors provided that the subcontractors take part in the manufacture or delivery of the imaging system offered.

The tenderer meets the requirement and provides the required information in the tender form.
