The object of this procurement is the implementation of an integrated research information system and related services to manage information of research activities and outputs of Åbo Akademi University (later ÅAU). The object is a cloud-based out-of-the-box system but it must be possible to install the system on premise too.

Current Research Information System (CRIS) is an information system that stores and manages data about different aspects of research conducted at an organization. The system can be implemented on- premises or provided as a service for VTT Technical Research Center of Finland Ltd. In this document, we refer to both options by using the terms ‘service’ or ‘system’.
