Current Research Information System (CRIS) is an information system that stores and manages data about different aspects of research conducted at an organization. The system can be implemented on- premises or provided as a service for VTT Technical Research Center of Finland Ltd. In this document, we refer to both options by using the terms ‘service’ or ‘system’.
The procurement is described in detail in the call for tenders documents.

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd (VTT) is planning to acquire a hosted current research information system (CRIS). The system will cover supply, implementation, maintenance and development of CRIS for VTT use. The system will be implemented in phases.

The system implemented in the first phase should include data at least on following entities: publications, persons involved creating the publications, their affiliations and organization units, events (such as conferences etc.). The system should also contain functionalities for creating publishing lists and other reports and presenting on the web in suitable manner selected sections of contents available in the system. The requirements are listed in the documentation of this invitation to tender.

VTT reserves an option to extend the system with additional features on a later stage for full CRIS system. The decision on extending the system will be made later, after the implementation phase has been completed and accepted by VTT and VTT has gained experience in using the system.

Kesto: 36 kuukautta
Uudistusten kuvaus:

With this procedure VTT will choose a supplier for three (3) year contract period. After the fixed three (3) year contract period, the agreement will be valid until further notice with six (6) months' notice.
