Hyperspectral Drill Core Scanning 2021
Geologian tutkimuskeskus
GTK has a local drill core interim storage and research facility in Rovaniemi, address Lepikontie 9, 96100 Rovaniemi (the “Lepinkotie premises”).
A tender is requested for hyperspectral drill core scanning service and processing the raw data, including all necessary equipment and a skilled professional operator, to scan approximately 40 000 m of drill core in the Lepikontie premises as well as for certain related services.
The actual scanning work shall be done within a period of approximately two and half (2 1/2) months in August-November 2021. Raw data processing and data correction (see 2.2 below) as well as optional processing services (if ordered by GTK, see 2.3 below) shall be done by the end of 2021.

The tender shall include an option for GTK to purchase similar services in 2022 and 2023 (see 3.2 below).
GTK will provide a heated area in the Lepikontie premises for the duration of the actual scanning work and also assisting personnel to clean and move the core boxes to the instrument.
The Lepikontie premises are locked and equipped with fire and burglar alarms in accordance with GTK's ordinary course of operations. The placing and operation of the tenderer's equipment at GTK's premises shall take place at the tenderer's own risk. The work should be conducted during GTK's working hours, i.e. between 7:00 am and 18:00 pm.

Vaihtoehtojen kuvaus:
The tender shall include an option for GTK to purchase similar services in 2022 and 2023 (see 3.2 below).
GTK reserves the right (the ”Option”) to extend the validity of this contract twice with one year at a time. Extending the validity of the contract with a year would mean that GTK would have the option to buy the services in 2022 on the same terms as in 2021. Extending the validity with a second year would mean that GTK would have the option to buy the services in 2023 on the same terms as in 2021 and 2022. In case GTK chooses to use its right to extension of the contract GTK will notify the supplier of the extention not less than one (1) month prior the expiration of the contract.
