Analyzing services on identity verification including parentage testing of horses
The Finnish trotting and breeding association
The subject matter of the contract concerns services on identity verification including parentage testing of horses based on DNA-samples. The samples include both blood and hair samples. The samples are collected by the Contracting Authority and the Member Associations of the Contracting Authority.
Services for the genetic testing for specified mutations and coat colors are included in the contract as an option. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to order these services from the Tenderer during the contract period.

CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract period starts from signing of the contract. After the signing of the contract, the Contracting Authority shall procure Services for four (4) years.
After four (4) years, contract period continues for six (6) months during which the Tenderer is still responsible for storing the samples at its own expense.

The Contracting Authority shall collect and deliver the DNA-samples to tenderer for analyzing.
Tenderer shall provide all the necessary materials to the Contracting Authority for collecting and delivering the samples.
Tenderer shall analyze the samples to verify the identity of an individual including parentage verification. After analyzing the samples, tenderer shall report the results back to the Contracting Authority.
Results shall be recorded to the database of the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority shall give the Tenderer access to the database for reporting the results.
Tenderer shall also store the samples as specified in appendix 2 of the invitation to tender.
