The HUS Group (hereinafter also referred to as the contracting entity) requests tenders for wearable monitoring devices for patients with Parkinson's disease. The procurement concerns a reusable wrist-worn monitoring device (hereinafter referred to as device) suitable for continuous use during everyday activities, together with a cloud-based software service required for data transfer, storage and retrieval. The supplier shall provide access to the software environment necessary for viewing and downloading the recorded data for clinical interpretation. The offered solution may include a downloadable mobile application intended for patient use, compatible with both Android and iOS operating systems. The device is used for approximately one-week registrations of motor symptoms during patient's normal daily activities. Recorded data is transferred to the supplier's cloud-based service, from which it can be retrieved for clinical interpretation at HUS Neurocenter as a part of the neurology center's own activities. The analysis (medical opinion) will be saved in neurology center's patient record. After each registration period, the device is returned to the outpatient clinic for cleaning and re-use with the next patient. The estimated number of registrations per year is approximately 50, using an estimated seven (7) devices; however, the number of devices may be up to a maximum of ten (10). The devices shall be returned to the supplier upon expiry of the contract period. Detailed requirements for both the device and the associated software are specified in this call for tenders and its appendices. The scope of the procurement also includes all device-specific consumables and accessories necessary for the intended use of the offered devices, as well as any complementary products required to ensure proper functionality and patient use. In addition, during the contract period, the contracting entity may procure other products belonging to the same product category and compatible with the devices covered by the contract, even if such items are not explicitly listed in the call for tenders.
