Pneumococcal vaccine for risk groups 2024 (2025, 2026 and 2027)

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (hereinafter ”STM”) and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (hereinafter "THL" or “Customer” ) request your tender for Pneumococcal Vaccines for risk groups belonging to the National Vaccination Programme in Finland.
The contract period is about one year 2024. The procurement contains three options to extend the contract for the periods 2025, 2026 and 2027.
Estimated quantity for the contract period depends on the tendered price since the total price for procurement is fixed and the total cost for this procurement is 650,000.00 euros (excluding VAT) for the contract period. Estimated quantity for the option periods is about half of the annual amount for the contract period.
The contract will be awarded to one Supplier based on a comparison of tenders. Tender that is economically the most advantageous will win the competition.

The purpose of STM and the Customer is to procure Pneumococcal Vaccines for risk groups required for the National Vaccination Programme in Finland. The tendered vaccine must be suitable for patients 74-year-old and under according to vaccine's Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC). Target group for risk group vaccinations is patients under 75-year-old with severe chronic disease (for example kidney disease or severe lung disease). Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare reserves the right to change and update the definition of risk groups when needed.

The Customer will implement the procurement on behalf of STM. The roles of STM and Customer are described in more detail in section "Presentation of the contracting authority".

The subject of procurement and the mandatory requirements relating to it are described in detail in this Call for Tender and its annexes. The contract will be awarded to one Supplier based on a comparison of tenders.

CONTRACT PERIOD

The contract´s duration is about one year 2024. Estimated quantity for the contract period depends on the tendered price since the total price for procurement is fixed and the total cost for this procurement is 650,000.00 euros (excluding VAT) for the contract period.

The Contract period shall enter into force once the contract has been signed, and expire when all contractual duties have been performed. After the contract period, the Customer reserves the right for the option described in section "Description of renewals".

Tenders will be compared in the manner described in section "Grounds for decision" of the Call for Tender.

Uudistusten kuvaus:

The procurement contains three option years (1+1+1) to extend the contract. Estimated quantity for each option period is about half the doses delivered in the contract period since the total price for one option period is fixed for annual budget of 300,000.00 euros. See Annex 6 Contract for additional information on the option.
