The system must include at least the following functions: - Laboratory workflows necessary for the functionality of the Veterinary Hospital --- Microbiology --- Hematology and clinical chemistry - Sample management and storage - Laboratory device integrations - Sample number series for different purposes that can be configured by the customer - Provet Cloud integration for laboratory referrals from Provet Cloud to the laboratory system - Provet Cloud integration for returning laboratory results from the LIMS system to Provet Cloud for billing purposes Please see attachments for additional descriptions of the current LIMS workflows in The University of Helsinki Veterinary Teaching Hospital and detailed Requirement definitions. The planned offer must include the software and necessary licenses, the implementation of the software, support and maintenance services for four (4) years, and the training required for the implementation of the system.

This call for tenders is based on a request for information made in early 2025. ( [TED eF16] 544802 / Request for information: Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for The University of Helsinki Veterinary Teaching Hospital) The procurement may exceed the EU threshold value. The procurement process will be implemented in the following stages: 1. Verification of the compliance of the tenders with the request for tender 2. Comparison of the overall economic advantage of the tenders 3. Decision-making and notification of the procurement decision 4. Conclusion of the procurement contract The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Helsinki reserves the right not to accept any of the submitted tenders. The procurement quantities stated in the request for information are estimates, and the request for information does not create a quantity purchase obligation for the purchaser. No compensation will be paid to suppliers for making an offer, presenting it, or participating in the procedure in any other way. The tender documents are available in English but offers can be submitted in English or in Finnish. Agreement templates are attached in Finnish and English. Language used when signing agreements will be decided together with selected supplier. In case there are If there are conflicts in the templates, the Finnish language will be prioritised. The University of Helsinki is not responsible for any translation costs that may be incurred by the supplier.
