The Joint Authority HUS requests for offers on Faecal calprotectin assay supplies. The Joint Authority HUS involved with this call for tenders is later referred to collectively as the “Client”.
The assay is an aid in differentiating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) of the small intestine, large bowel or stomach from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), specifically Crohn´s disease and ulcerative colitis. It is also used to determine disease activity and to monitor the response to treatment of IBD.
The procurement includes Faecal calprotectin assay test kits/packages. HUSLAB tested in 2021 approximately 35 000 samples. Estimated increase in number of samples is 10 - 15 % / year. HUS shall order the products and optional products included in this agreement on the basis of it's own needs. HUS is not obligated to order a set amount of products from the Supplier, nor does the Agreement give the Supplier the exclusive right to supply the products under this Agreement to the Client. The consumption given in the call for tenders is preliminary, and does not bind the Client.
The Agreement is in force for a fixed period of 2 years, and thereafter until terminated.
The Client will select one (1) supplier with which it will enter into an agreement.
The object of the procurement and the requirements pertaining to it are described in detail in the call for tenders and its appendices.

The object of the procurement is Faecal calprotectin assay supplies. The object of procurement also includes corresponding suppliers not mentioned in the pricing form that might be procured as stated in the draft agreement, in quantities needed during the agreement period and under the estimated value of the procurement.

Supplier is committed to sustain in Finland a reasonable 3 months consignment stock. This stock is in HUSLAB premises but owned by the Supplier. The Client places an order corresponding to the agreed size of the consignment stock and the ownership of the reagents passes to the Client. The Supplier fills the consignment stock after the Client has placed an order within the delivery time described above.

Options for additional procurements: Extraction device. Extraction device for stool sample collection and extraction for calprotectin analysis. The device must contain a sample tube, extraction buffer suitable for the offered faecal calprotectin assay, sample rod and sample rod adaptor to enable accurate sample volume collection.

Kesto: 24 kuukautta

The Agreement is in force for a fixed period of 2 years, and thereafter until terminated.

The requirement is that the tenderer is, in their country of establishment, registered in a trade register, a preliminary tax withholding register pursuant to the Tax Prepayment Act, employer register and a VAT register or an equivalent register, if required by law. The Client can verify the registrations.

This requirement also applies to any subcontractor the tenderer relies on and all members of a group.
