Aalto Works 2 Heat Pumps - Prequalification
Fortum Power and Heat Oy
Fortum Power and Heat Oy (the Purchaser) is planning to expand an existing air to water heat pump (AWHP) plant in Espoo. AWHP plant will produce heating and cooling to Fortum’s low temperature local area heating (LAH) and local area cooling (LAC) networks. The plant is located in Otaniemi (Espoo, Finland) on the plot which has already Fortum’s heat only boiler (HOB) plant.
This request will work as invitation for the first phase of the procurement. We kindly ask interested bidders to submit application to participate tendering process of AWHP plant that produce approximately 1,5 MW heat and 1,5 MW cooling for both LAH and LAC networks.
Bidder should propose heat pumps which take heat from the outside air and supply heat to LAH network and cools LAC network and rejects heat to outside air.
