The following features are required from the instrument:

1) Optics

1.1 At least three lasers (violet 405 nm, blue 488 nm and red 633-640 nm), with upgrade possibility to 5 lasers (UV approx. 355 nm and yellow-green approx. 561 nm). Including pricing for the upgrades (incl. material + all installation and setup-related work).

1.2 Two scatter and at least 16 fluorescence detectors.

1.3. Twenty-five (25) or more fluorescent parameters with the full upgrade to five lasers.

1.4 Fluorescence resolution CV <3 % for chicken erythrocyte nuclei (CEN), propidium iodidestained.

1.5 Fluorescence sensitivity of at least molecules of equivalent soluble fluorochromes MESF on the FITC channel: 80, MESF on the PE channel:30.

1.6 Separation of at least 0.5 micrometer-sized particles with scatter detectors.

2) Fluidics

2.1 At least 12 × 75 mm tube and 96-well plate sample input formats.

2.2 Easy switch between tube and HTS (plate) input.

2.3 Gentle sample mixing possibilities for plates.

3) Software

3.1 The Supplier guarantees to provide the latest version of software offered.

3.2 Three licenses of software must be included to the total price of the tender or must be freely available.

3.3 Generation of Flow Cytometry Standard (FCS) files that are compatible with most flow cytometry data analysis software such as e.g. FlowJo.

3.4 Possibility for auto-compensation. Auto-compensation functionality.

4) Service and support

4.1 Total price of tender includes at least 2 years of warranty and regular maintenance during the warranty period.

5) Training

5.1 Total price of the tender must include training of the core facility personnel for instrument maintenance, running and trouble shooting. After the training the personnel should be able to train new users of the instrument.

6) User references for the instrument

6.1 The tenderer has references to at least three laboratories or core units to which it has supplied the instrument offered or earlier version thereof.

Kesto: 12 kuukautta

Service contract for 3 years after warranty period is asked to offer as an option.
