Meningococcal ACWY Conjugate Vaccine (MenACWY) 2021-2023 (2023-2024, 2024-2025)

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (hereinafter ‘STM’) and Finnish institute for health and welfare (hereinafter ‘THL’ or ‘Customer’) request your tender for Meningococcal ACWY (MenACWY) Conjugate Vaccine belonging to the Vaccination Programme in the Finnish Defence Forces and for the medical risk groups within the National Vaccination Programme in Finland.
The contract period is about two years during 2021-2023. The procurement contains two options to extend the contract for the periods 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
Estimated quantity for the contract period including option is 120 000 doses. Customer reserves the right to increase or decrease the ordered numbers of doses by up to 20 %.
The contract will be awarded to one supplier based on a comparison of tenders. Tender that is economically the most advantageous will win the competition.

The purpose of STM and the customer is to procure Meningococcal ACWY (MenACWY) conjugate vaccine required for the vaccination programme in the Finnish Defence forces and for the medical risk groups within the National Vaccination Programme in Finland. Tendered vaccine must be suitable for adults and children because both adults and children may belong to the Medical Risk Groups. The customer will implement the procurement on behalf of STM. The roles of STM and customer are described in more detail in section ‘Presentation of the contracting authority’.

Contract Period
The contract's duration is about 2 years. Estimated quantity for the contract period is 60 000 doses. The customer reserves the right to increase or decrease the ordered numbers of doses by up to 20 %.
The contract period shall enter into force once the contract has been signed, and expire when all contractual duties have been performed. After the contract period, the customer reserves the right for the option described in section ‘Description of renewals’.
