Within this competitive tendering Yle (Yleisradio Oy, Finnish Broadcasting Company) will acquire professional LED screens for Yle's TV studio needs. The screens will be located in B-floor at Yle's premises in Finland, Helsinki, Pasila News studio area. This studio is used for Yle morning and afternoon shows on daily basis 7 days of week. Yle is asking tenders for all solutions mentioned below:

Screen 1 (2 options):
— 1,5 mm pixel pitch (+/- 0,1 mm tolerance),
— 1,2 mm pixel pitch (+/- 0,1 mm tolerance).
Screen 2 (2 options):
— 5,9 mm pixel pitch (+/- 1,0 mm tolerance),
— 2,8 mm pixel pitch (+/- 1,0 mm tolerance).
On the basis of this competitive tendering Yle will select one tenderer to supply the screens needed. An agreement will be made between Yle and the selected tenderer. The agreement term will be 24 months. Yle will immediately need the screens for B-floor and possible will refit other studios later in time. Yle may purchase any of Screen 1 or screen 2 options after signing the agreement. Yle's aims, as well as content, scale and minimum requirements for the products and services to be offered, are described in more detail in appendices of this call for tenders:

The tenderer shall be registered in the professional or trade register of its domicile country, if the candidate is obliged to register to these registers according to its domicile countries national law. The tenderer shall also be registered in the prepayment register and the employer register in accordance with the act on prepayment of tax, and shall be registered as VAT-liable in the value-added tax register in compliance with the value-added tax act before the procurement decision is made, if the candidate is obliged to register to these registers according to its domicile country's national law. If the tenderer is a group, these requirements shall be met by all its members individually. If subcontractors are participating the delivery, they must meet these requirements individually. If requested, the tenderer shall provide relevant certificates. Yle will require the ESPD form to be completed by each tenderer and their subcontractors, and each operator, if the proposal is made by a group of tenderers.

YLE has decided to correct the call for tenders on following parts: pixel pitch tolerance for Screen #2 has been changed from: 2,8 mm (+-1 mm tolerance) -> 1,8 mm — 3,9 mm. 5,9 mm (+-1 mm tolerance) -> 4,0 mm — 6,9 mm. Anti-moire filter can be on a separate support structure. Contract draft Part 11.2. All changes has been marked on attached and updated tender material in question: Appendix 1 (20190515). Appendix 2 (20190515). Appendix 3 (20190515). Tender time has been extended by 72 h.
