Procurement of EU standard 2 Walk-Through Metal Detectors and Management System for Finavia´s Airports

Finavia requests tenders for supplying EU standard 2 Walk Through Metal Detector equipment. Finavia is also looking for as an option an adequate Management software, Interfaces and design and engineering work to be used to manage WTMDs. The offered equipment must have one or more authorization given by Appropriate aviation security authority in EC for the use of WTMD in Aviation security. The procurement shall be executed by a framework contract, whereby the customer may purchase the supplies during the Contract period as described in in the Invitation to tender draft.The supplies related to minimum purchase and other supplies ordered at the same time shall be delivered and be in use at the end of December 2018. Under the Framework Agreement, the customer, can purchase equal assemblies during the Contract period for any airport operated by Finavia. Procurement includes all the accessories, furnishing, software and hardware needed to operate the WTMD efficiently unless otherwise agreed.

Finavia corporation is a public corporation maintaining the airport network in Finland. As a result of this procurement, Finavia purports to enter into collaboration with the chosen tenderer. Further information regarding the procurement can be found in the draft Invitation to tender. The draft Invitation to tender has been attached to the Contract notice. The draft Invitation to tender is merely a preliminary draft and it shall be supplemented and specified during the procurement procedure. At this point candidated are requested to submit the mere form of request to participate and the documents and appendices requested therein. The candidates, who have been accepted as tendererd, shall submit a tender only after they have been requested to do so and after the negotiations conducted by the Contracting Authority.
