Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer
A growing number of researchers at Aalto University School of Chemical Engineering are interested in studying macromolecules, complex mixtures, and low-concentration samples using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Typically, the sample molecules of interest include peptides, small proteins, oligosaccharides, lignin, cellulose, and various metabolites.
The object of the contract is a complete turnkey, stand-alone NMR spectrometer capable of high-resolution measurements of the above-mentioned samples in the liquid-state and that can be used for both the inverse triple resonance experiments and the 13C observation experiments, while providing highest possible 1H and 13C sensitivities.
