A tender is requested for one (1) complete shallow water multibeam echosounder system, including installation and training options. The object of the tender shall satisfy the following requirements.

Minimum requirements for the multi beam system:

— Interferometric/ phase measuring operation;

— Operating depth range up to 200-300 m;

— Simultaneous geo-referenced side scan sonar data;

— Opening angle >200o;

— IHO SP-44 (5th edit) special order compliant;

— Backscatter data acquisition;

— Windows based acquisition software or compatible with HYPACK;

— All necessary accessories (such as data cables, power cords, batteries, tools and parts) required for the operation of the instrument shall be included.

The tender shall include information about mounting the system onto the vessel. Blueprints of the existing mounting pole (moonpool) shall be delivered on request.

The tender shall include technical specification and description of the object of the tender. Photographs of the object may be attached to the tender. Relevant EU standards and approvals shall be met.

Documentation

All technical manuals describing the use and maintenance of the product and the provided software shall be delivered together with the product. All documentation shall be in English.

Training

Basic training for 1-2 days on the use and maintenance of the offered product shall be provided to GTK personnel. Part of the training shall take place in a class room and part on the research vessel. The exact date(s) of the training shall be agreed between GTK and the supplier. Training should take place during the first half of 2018. The training shall be in English.

The training shall take place at GTK Espoo, Finland, (max. 5 pers.) and on the vessel as agreed.

Supplier 1 person.

After sales services

After sales services should be included for a period equal to the warranty period (see section 3.3.).

The after sales services shall include at least expert support given by e-mail or telephone on the use and maintenance of the product and its software.

A full description of after sales services shall be included in the tender.
