VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd (hereinafter VTT) is the leading research and technology company in the Nordic countries. VTT has a national mandate in Finland. VTT has been granted an ISO 9001:2008 certificate, and our environmental system is certified in accordance with ISO 14001:2004. The object of this tender process is to find 1 or 2 professional supplier(s) that can guarantee a high standard of quality for synthetic genes and DNA fragments used in the VTT research laboratories.
The procurement has been divided into two (2) parts:
Part 1. Synthetic genes;
Part 2. DNA fragments.
VTT will select one (1) Tenderer for each part. VTT will make a framework agreement with the selected tenderers. Tenderers may give separate tenders for 1 or both parts. VTT is looking for a supplier of a two-year (2) contract period. VTT reserves the right to continue the contract with two (1+1) optional years, 1 year at a time. The objective is to start placing the orders according to the VTT needs in May 2016.
