Next Generation Telecommunications Network Equipment

Fingrid Oyj is purchasing telecommunications network equipment that will be used to build a telecommunications network to provide various critical services for its electricity transmission network. The network shall provide high available service for critical utility applications such as differential teleprotection, real-time monitoring and remote control. The networks provide connections also for auxiliary services such as surveillance video, voice communications and metering. The procurement covers i.e. the following areas:
— Delivery of equipment until year 2030;
— Maintenance and repair services (on-site and factory repair);
— Spare part services;
— Backup device service;
— Support (II/III level);
— Configuration;
— Necessary licenses and applications;
— Training;
— Design services.
The purpose of the Contract is purchase of telecommunication network equipment and related software for a telecommunication network that provides high available connections for protection of the grid, control and other communication between substations, control centers and other grid related telecommunication locations. The Contract shall cover also supply of related services to ensure smooth planning, building, commissioning, operation and management of the network and its services, expansion of the network, keeping the equipment and management system up to date and development of the network, availability of spare parts, support for trouble shooting as well as compatibility of equipment.

Tarjousten vastaanottamisen määräaika oli 2016-02-29. Hankinta julkaistiin 2016-01-21.
