KYVO3 Steam Turbine Plant

KYVO3 project will be executed in two phases. In the first phase a circulated fluidized bed (CFB) boiler and flue gas condensing plant will be built for heat production. The boiler fuel input is approximately 170 MJ/s and the primary fuels will be forest residue, milled peat and coal. The first phase of the project will be in commercial operation in 2019.
In the second phase in accordance of electricity market development the plant will be supplemented with a 55 MWe CHP steam turbine plant. The new turbine is planned to be in commercial operation in 2021.

Lyhyt kuvaus:
This procurement concerns a 55MWe Steam Turbine Plant of KYVO3 project. The Steam Turbine Plant concept is based on district heating with two DH exchangers. The turbine shall have provision for a condensing tail (option). The Steam Turbine Plant will be installed in the existing turbine hall, where it will replace Kymijärvi I turbine. It is planned to be in commercial operation in 2021. Inquiry and its appendices specifies the procurement of the Steam Turbine Plant in more detail.
