Purchase of mobile x-ray scanner systems for Finnish Customs

The object of the procurement is to purchase two mobile x-ray scanner systems for Finnish Customs.
In this procurement, mobile scanner means x-ray inspection/imaging system, which is used for scanning whole trucks (loaded/unloaded), containers and vehicles to reveal dangerous and/or illegal cargo and to carry out manifest verification to reduce the need for manual inspection. The x-ray mobile scanner is typically installed as part of a truck and the operator can drive the mobile scanner to different locations of use.
The procurement will include a maintenance contract for the x-ray scanners.
The procurement will be carried out using a competitive negotiation due to the complexity of the procurement object.
In this procurement complies with the Act on Public Contracts in the Fields of Defence and Security (1531/2011) and Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts
(1397/2016).
