Yle is looking for a web analytics service that provides measurement for online content usage, an interface for analysing that usage and a capability to export the measured data to other systems is also needed. Delivery of the service shall start 1 January 2021.

Requirements and selection criteria for the selection of candidates is described in this invitation to tender, as well as the minimum requirements that are not negotiable.

Digital services and data driven development are strategic focus points for Yle and the web is growing in importance as a distribution channel. Being a public media company Yle is also responsible for national communications during crises. These facts make web analytics vital for Yle.

Currently Yle’s online content gets approximately 5.5 billion page views annually. This is expected to grow in the upcoming years. The service Yle looks for needs to respond to this increase in usage. Yle is also likely to launch completely new online services. The service needs to respond to growth in the usage of current services and also to the usage of new services.

Uudistusten kuvaus:
Fixed term for the agreement is 24 months. After the fixed term the agreement continues valid until further notice with a three (3) months notice period on the part of the customer and with six (6) months notice period on the part of the supplier.

Certificates of no criminal convictions of the winning tenderer will be checked before signing the agreement. Tenderer should be prepared to provide the certificates in two weeks time from request.
