The subject of the procurement is the intelligent prison solution including software, devices and services within the time frame and scope of the procurement.

The scope of procurement is described in detail in the appendices.

1 supplier will be selected based on this tendering.

In the first phase an intelligent prison solution is implemented at a new women's prison in Hämeenlinna at fall 2020.

In the next phase the intelligent prison solution is expanded within the limits of budget funding to the two new prisons scheduled for completion by 2022.

At a later stage, the aim is to have the contract cover the 15 closed prisons in Finland with a total of slightly more than 2 000 prisoner places and 1 500 staff members.

The contracting entity (Legal Register Centre) has decided to suspend the procurement procedure due to an essential change in the scope of the procurement which was discovered during the questions and answers process and which cannot be rectified without suspension of procurement. The contracting entity will publish a new contract notice and call for tenders approximately 6th April 2020. With Best Regards, Legal Register Centre”.
