Charter Flights 2018-2021

This framework agreement covers the provision of charter flights (customer specific destinations and timetables) in accordance with the Call for tenders and with aviation legislation and regulations. This framework agreement does not cover air transport services provided with helicopters. The charter flight services are passenger flights. Reservations may be done with short notice.

The term of the Agreement is three (3) years and nine (9) months. All Charter flights shall be flown within three (3) months period after the expiration of this Agreement. In addition, the contract term for the Service contract may exceed three months at the maximum the contract term of the Agreement.

The charter flights are passenger flights with small business air-crafts or large passenger air-crafts.
The average usage of the previous framework agreement per year was following:
— About 20 charter flights with small passenger air-crafts and about 20 charter flights with large passenger air-crafts.
— Departures were mainly from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, some of the flights were 1 way charter flights.
— Destinations were mainly to Europe (e.g. Bruxelles, Hannover, Madrid), Middle East (Bagdad, Kabul) and Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow).
— Small passenger air-crafts were mainly used by the Finnish Governments top management, the Police uses all charter flights categories.
Fundamental changes for the usage are not foreseen for the future. However, when taking into account the nature of the service, international circumstances are affecting for the need of the service compared to the previous framework agreement.
Estimations presented above do not tie Hansel nor the Customer.
