Reply: No. In our RFQ the demand is to have the ability in Europe: 3) Request for Clarification — Subject Jyse 2014/Security: Is there requirement for any financial security in the form of bank guarantees for performance and/or warranty?. R: No. Advance payments will not apply to this procurement. Hence, no need for bank guarantee: 4) Q: How many HSI's and OH's of PT6A-67P engines will be due during the contract period?. R: Our estimation: 5 Overhauls and 2 HSIs.

5) Q: ‘The Supplier shall provide the spares needed for the repair. The parts shall be new…’ (stated on the tender documents). Can you please confirm if the intent of this statement is that the consumables (often called the 100 % list) should all be new or if the intent is that ALL replacement parts should be new. The second option would make for a very expensive repair / overhaul. We use certified repair and overhaul condition parts particularly when replacing major items such a casings and housings. These come with full certification and vendor warranties. In many cases, our vendor is P&WC or another P&WC supplier. R: Quotation shall include price of new spares for sake of comparison. During the contract period we will decide case by case if new or used parts are to be used. Q: Can you confirm that only SB specifically stipulated in the Annex 2 Sheet 2 Specifications are to be included in Standard Overhaul price? Regarding mentioned SB we need clarification.
