X-ray Diffraction (XRD) Device with High-Temperature Chamber

The Centre for Advanced Steels Research (CASR) of the University of Oulu (hereafter called the Buyer) invites tenders for an x-ray diffraction (XRD) device equipped with high-temperature chamber. The XRD system will be mainly used in analysis of bulk steel and powder samples.
The system will be operated by the Center of Microscopy and Nanotechnology (CMNT). Besides metallurgy, it will be utilized also in other fields of science and technology e.g. ceramic material and thin film research, geosciences, and chemistry. Due to the multiuser environment, the usability and versatility are essential characteristic of the system.
Detailed requirements for the system are given in ‘APPENDIX 2, Mandatory Requirements for the System’ and ‘APPENDIX 3, Evaluation of the System’ attached to this call for tenders.
