Invitation to tender for chemical analysis and related services for GTK Mintec

A tender is requested for chemical analysis and related services. GTK will enter into new co-operation agreement on the grounds of this purchasing procedure.
The scope and objective of the public contract to be signed is:
Analytical services for GTK Mintec including laboratory and pilot plant operations.
GTK Mintec offers their customers studies from mineralogical research and laboratory tests to continuous processing in the pilot plant. Analytical services are needed to operate the research activities in laboratory and pilot scale. Especially during the continuous run in the pilot plant it is essential to have the analytical services available with short delivering times.
The required analytical services for GTK Mintec are:
— carbon and sulfur analysis (S/C),
— wet chemistry analysing methods (atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) including flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS) and electro-thermal atomic absorption spectroscopy (GFAAS, with graphite tube),
— Fire Assay method (FA) and,
— X-ray fluorescence (XRF).
All analysing services will include the preparations and/or pre-processing of samples to be analysed. The Tenderer will also be responsible to arrange reception of the samples at GTK Mintec site and of all logistics involved with the samples delivered to the analysis facilities. The Tenderer will also be responsible to arrange delivery of the remaining sample materials back to GTK Mintec after analysing them and of all logistics involved.
