Helsinki City Theatre — Big stage's under-stage machinery
The Contracting Authority in this procurement procedure is Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri/Helsingin teatterisäätiö (referred also as Helsinki City Theatre).
Helsinki City Theatre, founded in 1964, is the biggest professional repertoire theatre in Finland. The theatre is maintained by Helsinki Theatre Foundation. The Theatre has currently six stages: big stage (947 seats), small stage (347 seats), studio Elsa (240 seats), Theatre Studio Pasila (324 seats), Arena stage (500 seats) and Lilla Teatern (267 seats).
Helsinki City Theatre will be refurbishing the big stage's under-stage machinery. The object of the contract is the delivery and installation of the stage engineering equipment. The basic information concerning the subject of the contract will be provided in the invitation to participate. A more detailed description of the contract and definition of the requirements will be provided as a part of the Invitation to Tender that will be submitted only to those candidates that are invited to tender after pre-qualification stage of the procurement procedure.
