The night vision devices

The purpose of this procurement is to improve the troop's ability to move by foot and using different vehicles as well as night combat. The purpose of the procurement is to have stereoscopic effect in darkness when it is needed.
The binocular night vision devices will be used by Finnish Defence Forces (FDF) conscripts, reserve and enlisted personnel in Finnish terrain and circumstances. Devices should also be capable of operate in international crisis management missions around the world.

Kelpoisuus harjoittaa ammattitoimintaa:
The Participant shall include the following information and documents in the Participation Request:
1) An account of whether the enterprise is entered in the Prepayment Register, the Employer Register and the Value Added Tax Register.
2) An extract from the Trade Register.
3) A certificate of tax payment or of tax debt, or an account that a payment plan has been made regarding tax debt.
4) Certificates of pension insurances taken out and of pension insurance premiums paid, or an account that a payment agreement on outstanding pension insurance premiums has been made.
5) An account of the collective agreement or the principal terms of employment applicable to the work.
6) A certificate of accident insurance taken out.
At the time of concluding the contract, these documents may not be older than three months.
The Request for Quotation will be send to the participants, whose device fullfills the following tehcnical, mandatory requirements:
1) The binocular night vision device shall be able to observe minimum 150..250 meter distance.
2) The binocular night vision device shall be able to use when walking/running, skiing and driving different vehicles.
3) The binocular night vision device shall have head-mount and helmet mount for Finnish helmet (model 2005).
4) The binocular night vision device shall be able to use reliably in temperature between -32 celsius - + 55 celsius.
5) The binocular night vision device shall be approved product and production documentation and the Declaration of the Conformity shall be delivered to the customer.
6) The product shall be equipped the XD-4, or better, image intensifier tube with following key values.
Resolution: at least 60lp/mm
Signal to noise ratio: at least 20:
7) The binocular night vision device shall be able to separate into two independent moncoular night vision devices.
8) The environmental demands shall be in accordance with MIL STD 810F.
Other requirements will be informed in the Request for Quotation, which will be delivered to the Tenderers after the participation request phase.
