Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Nitrogen Oxides Reduction System (deNOx) at Naantali Power Plant Unit 3 (315 MWth)

TSE Oy owned Naantali Power Plant Unit no. 3 will be equipped with Nitrogen oxides reduction (deNOx) system to reduce nitrogen oxides emissions from present level of ≤600 mg/Nm3 to ≤180 mg/Nm3 (calculated as NO2, dry gases at normal conditions, at 6 % oxygen).
It is preliminarily assumed that the deNOx system will be based on Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology but also other technologies are accepted, if they fulfill the requirements specified in the RfQ.
The delivery shall be EPC-type including SCR-reactor with associated ducting, reagent unloading, storage and supply station and reagent evaporation, dilution and injection, and also including replacement of existing ID-fans.
The boiler of unit no 3 is Sulzer type pulverized coal fired boiler with 315 MW thermal power calculated as fuel input and flue gas flow of 140 Nm3/s.

— Contract signed: 1.4.2014
— Take-over of the delivery: 30.9.2015
