Mapping and defining the Structures of the US and UK Government Defense Agencies in Healthcare and Medical Research.
The scope of the work should be seen as mapping exercises of key organizations. Defining the organization structures and proper contact person or department in each organization. Scope of work including report structure and format.Content and quality of the information is requested only for the areas, which has relevance to Life Science, diagnostics, devices, medical treatments, medical solutions, medical products and other medical technologies or medical related demands from the target organizations.Following information should be included in to the report in uniform order for each researched organization:— Name of the agency or organization,— Short dynamic introduction or description of the entity and its operations,— Organizational structure and hierarchy including dependencies between different organizations and agencies,— Highlight the entity’s special features or interesting areas or expertise, which they are engaged. What type of special areas or technologies of Health Tech, medical diagnostics, devices and treatments respective entity is interested in,— Ongoing research programs (if available),— Useful web and article links, which gives insight and useful information what the organization is doing and what type of projects they have done or they are currently engaged,— What are current opportunities, invitation to tenders, open inquiries etc,— Major cooperation partners: companies, universities, research institutes and other important entities (only important and relevant partners),— Funding opportunities for external service providers, what and how to apply funding (if available),— Contact information for the international partners, persons names etc. in order to have more direct access to the proper department or person in charge for partnering.

Preferred basic skills and knowledge.

— Competence and experience in doing international basic desk information collection research work and international business intelligence work,

— Ability to communicate in English and Finnish (Finnish not mandatory),

— Client references for the similar global Business Intelligence works for IPA’s,

— Knowledge and experience working with the public authorities. Understanding the structures and functions of different public agencies, organizations and able to define clearly their different roles and dependencies.
