Fortum Power and Heat Oy: Järvenpää CHP Project - Insulation

The activities cover generation, distribution and sale of electricity and heat as well as operation and maintenance of power plants. Fortum's power generation capacity is over 13,600 MW. The power plant concept consists of 76 MW fuel-power BFB boiler plant and 23 MW electric power steam turbine generator plant. The new plant is planned to be in commercial operation in the middle of year 2013.
Fortum Power and Heat Oy and Fortum Jelgava SIA is planning to install simultaneously identical new combined heat and power plants (the CHP Plant) to cover the base district heat load of the city of Jelgava, Latvia and Järvenpää, Finland.
With one announcement the candidates can express their interest for one or both of the projects. The object of supply is the same for both Fortum Utility Units. Fortum can buy both supplies from one or two separate companies.
This supply consists of insulation and installation works.
