Optical animal imaging system
University of Turku intends to purchase an optical animal imaging system to be used for rodents. Main requirements for the system include in vivo imaging of the entire body of the animal and a defined site of interest by using fluorescence and bioluminescence based technologies. The system has to be easy to use by scientists with a biomedical background, and to produce images to be analyzed with equipment independent imaging software.
