Market Research various countries
Our customer provides corporations, universities, and other educational institutions easy-to-use and cost-effective business simulations. Our customer operates globally through our their own offices and partner network.
Our customer has decided to research several markets to explore the potential to build up a local channel to promote their solutions and services. Our customer is now looking at starting cooperation with a local consultant to perform a market research project in five to six different countries.
The consultant is expected to work as a customer representative having responsibility to lead the local market research and market testing activities. The consultant is expected to be able to quickly open doors to end customers, consultant, value added resellers and systems integrators and to establish a long list of customers and partners quickly. Our customer is looking for one Consultant Company that can perform the assignment in all countries listed below. In order to be able to do this successfully, the consultant needs to posses the following capabilities as a minimum requirement to be eligible to bid:
— a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development or other commercial roles in the it markets,
— very good understanding of the business simulation solutions business in Germany, UK, USA, Canada, South Africa and Brazil,
— consultant performing the in-country assignment needs to reside in the market and speak the local language fluently,
— good overall understanding of software sales and business development local and competitive landscape,
— proven business development, partner management and sales skills also at executive level,
— existing references at above mentioned channels, that can be contacted,
— capability to commit a minimum on 1/3 of resource time to the assignment.
Selection criteria among bidders, who fulfill the above criteria, are:
— proven understanding of the local business simulation software markets and proven existing contacts; the proof of contacts can be a list of channel partner and enc user companies with contact names and roles. weight 50 %,
— good overall understanding of software sales, channel management, business development locally and local competitive landscape validated by an interview. weight 20 %,
— pricing; the offers need to specify the daily rate; all costs related to market research activities including travel within the territory need to be included in the proposal 30 %.
